Since the first comprehensive community plan was adopted in 2010, the Board has updated you every two years to inform you of the Township’s progress toward the goals and objectives outlined therein. This is a measure of accountability to you, our constituents. With guidance from a steering committee comprising members from the Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals, as well as public engagement and input, the Board adopted an updated Comprehensive Plan in 2023. This plan incorporated certain themes and goals from the 2010 Plan, as well as new ones that had emerged since then.
